Suzanne got a lot of help from Aimhigher Sussex at college – “Writing my personal statement, helping me change my course through UCAS Extra, helping me with general information about university through booklets and posters.”
She decided to go to university to learn new skills, further her education and have fun. Studying English allows Suzanne to indulge her love of reading and explore new areas that she normally wouldn’t consider.
Moving away from home has allowed Suzanne to learn new skills such as cooking and to gain her independence. She’s enjoyed meeting new people but isn’t fond of doing her own laundry.
Suzanne has just been elected as a Student Union Council officer and is also part of the English Society and the Rugby Club. When she graduates, Suzanne hopes to get a PGCE at the University of Sussex and become a teacher at a FEcollege.
