Kimberley is the first in her family to go to university and is currently studying for an LLB Law at the University of Sussex. She chose to stay at home in Eastbourne and travels to campus. Kimberley found that going to different universities on Aimhigher trips really helped her realise that she wanted to go onto higher education.
She had wanted to become a solicitor for a long time and knew that, to get to her chosen career, she would need to achieve good A-levels and a degree. Also, that these qualifications would help to open up opportunities for other careers if she later decides to change her career path.
Kimberley has found that learning to work independently has been one of the biggest challenges of university life but that it’s good to have a goal and know that you are working towards your future career.
Kimberley is also involved in the Student Law body. When she graduates, she would like to complete the Legal Practice course then get a training contract and become a Solicitor.
