Gemma Sullivan

Age: 19
Gemma and her sister were brought up by her Mum after her Dad died. She knew from the age of nine that she wanted to be a primary school teacher, but lacked information on how to achieve her ambition.
Gemma was inspired by University visits, including a primary teaching taster, and Aimhigher Sussex also helped her with her university application. The programme gave her the knowledge and information to make my way to university easier and less stressful, as I knew what was coming.
Still living in Brighton, Gemma is thoroughly enjoying her life as a student and has made lots of new friends. She’d like to become a primary school teacher and also teach abroad.
