Sarah became involved with Aimhigher while attending secondary school and felt “it gave me an insight into what being a student at University is all about”.
Choosing Manchester was very important to Sarah as she fell in love with the city from the first time she visited. Sarah says “Aimhigher has enlightened me about university, it would be a new, exciting experience and something I wanted to pursue”. Sarah finds the course content constantly inspiring, she is currently learning Old English texts and translating them to present day.
Sarah has taken part in Apprentice Manchester and is involved in Manchester’s Student Radio station, a film company and a Media club. She is planning a career in media and to hopefully become a director/producer in television or film.
