Here’s a list of the past projects that Aimhigher Sussex has been involved with.

Working with Museums Project 2010

This year Aimhigher Sussex, Museums, Libraries and Archives (MLA) and Creative Partnerships, together with Bognor Regis Community College, Shoreham Academy and Sir Robert Woodard Academy combined to develop new ways of targeting key museum audiences.

‘Working With Museums’ Project

A recent Aimhigher collaborative partnership in West Sussex resulted in Year 9 groups producing long-lasting projects that will be used by museums for the foreseeable future.

Between November and March this year, Aimhigher Sussex, Museums, Libraries and Archives (MLA) and Creative Partnerships (CP), together with three Aimhigher schools (Felpham Community College, King’s Manor Community College, and Thomas Bennett Community College) combined to develop new ways of targeting key museum audiences.

A Suitable Boy Project 2008-09

The Suitable Boy Project is now in its second year and continues to work with Year 9 boys, targeting low aspiration and lack of progression amongst working-class lads. The project has benefited from broader partnership working with University of Brighton, University of Sussex, and University of Chichester; this has increased the scope and diversity of projects available to the boys who participated.
