Fay is currently doing a BA in Literature with the Open University. She wanted to be a journalist when she was younger. She’s scared of spiders, loves the movie Out Of Africa and the book Dance with a Poor Man’s Daughter which is about racism and hope in South Africa. Her favourite food is mashed up banana on toast. She feels her greatest achievement is her two daughters. She’d like to spend every day reading but also writing the novel she feels she has in her head waiting to hit paper. Her best memory from school is going to Latin lessons by mistake thinking they were the modern African language she’d picked. She loves her job because she feels strongly that people who have the academic capability to go to uni and want to go should have all the support possible.
